1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Juristable website (juristable.com) and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the website or services.
These Terms constitute a contract between you (“you”, “User”, “Client”) and Juristable (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Nature of Service
2.1 Legal Services Coordinator — Not a Law Firm
Juristable is a legal services coordination platform. We connect clients with Australian legal service providers, including law firms, barristers, and independent legal practitioners.
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. We do not hold a practising certificate and are not registered as a legal practice under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW).
2.2 No Legal Advice
Nothing on this website, in our communications, or in any service we provide constitutes legal advice. We do not:
- Interpret the merits of any legal matter
- Recommend any specific legal service provider as the “best” or “preferred” choice
- Represent users in any legal proceedings
- Commit users to engaging any legal service provider
Users must obtain their own independent legal advice from a qualified legal practitioner before making any legal decisions.
2.3 Coordination Services
Our services include:
- Discovering and evaluating legal service providers across Australian jurisdictions
- Coordinating outreach to providers on behalf of clients
- Securing fixed-fee quotes and fee proposals from providers
- Comparing and scoring provider suitability against client briefs
- Managing communications between clients and providers
- Providing matter profiles and brief summaries to assist providers in scoping
3. User Obligations

3.3 Confidentiality
You acknowledge that information you provide to us for the purpose of obtaining legal services quotations may contain confidential and privileged material. We take reasonable steps to maintain confidentiality, including:
- Requiring providers to acknowledge confidentiality before receiving full matter documentation
- Providing summarised matter profiles rather than raw documents where possible
- Not disclosing your identity to providers without your approval
4. Provider Engagement
4.1 No Guarantee of Engagement
We do not guarantee that any legal service provider will accept your matter, provide a quote, or be available within your requested timeframe.
4.2 User Approval Required
All outbound communications to legal service providers (emails, SMS, phone calls) require your explicit approval before sending. We will present draft communications for your review and will not send any communication without your authorisation.
4.3 Provider Independence
Legal service providers are independent contractors. We do not employ, control, or direct them. Any engagement between you and a provider is a separate contractual arrangement between those parties.

If the dispute is not resolved within 14 days of written notice, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation administered by a mediator agreed between the parties, or in the absence of agreement, appointed by the President of the Law Society of New South Wales.
10.3 Sealed Arbitration
If the dispute is not resolved through mediation within 30 days of the mediator being appointed, the user agrees that all disputes not resolved at mediation shall be finally resolved by sealed (confidential) arbitration conducted in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Act 2010 (NSW) on the following terms:
- The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator agreed between the parties, or in the absence of agreement within 14 days, appointed by the President of the Law Society of New South Wales;
